How To Make Richens Mama Sauce?

Yup Mama Richens Makes a mean Sauce!

 What do i need to make Mama Richens Sauce?
  • 1/2 Cucumber
  • 3 Mushrooms
  • 1 Carrot
  • 1 Red Onion
  • Fresh Stock (Can Use a cube instead)
  • 1 Tin of Peeled Plum Tomatoes
  • Fresh Garlic
  • 1 Tsp of Butter
  • Basil (loose handful)
  • 1 Cal Spray
How Do i make the sauce?
  1. Brown the Onions & Mushrooms (This is VERY Important) in a frying pan with some 1 Cal spray!
  2. Chop Carrots (as chunky as you want)
  3. Put the Carrots in the pan
  4. Cover & Steam for 10/15 Mins (Medium heat)
  5. Start on the Fresh Garlic & Basil (Grounded in a Pestal & Mortar if you can -NOT TOGETHER).
  6. After steaming place the butter in a pan on low heat, place the Garlic & Basil in with the butter (First place the Basil and wait around 90 seconds) then place the crushed garlic in
  7. Take off the butter then place in a food processor.
  8. Open the tinned tomatoes and place them in the processor
  9. Put all the other ingredients in the food processor (including the stock)
  10. Blend the items together for around 60 seconds
  11. Place back in a pan to reheat for around 4/5 minutes (Until hot)
  12. Serve! Enjoy Mama's Sauce!
